Cultural Camps

  1. Ngarin (morning) 2 days 1 evening
  2. Diranbirang Clouds in the evening) 3 days 2 evenings
  3. Birramal (the bush) 5 days 3 evenings
  4. Ngalan (A light) 6 days 4 evenings

These camps are to give all participants and insight into how our ancestors live and how we live with the morals of the Dreamtime. You will visit Traditional Aboriginal site (family sites), Traditional dance, and Traditional music, eat bush foods and learn about Traditional life style and the family, kinship system and how it relates to our totems. You will also learn about the spiritual side of Aboriginal culture. Traditional Dreamtime stories will be told around the campfire.
There are two types of camps. Semi traditional and fully traditional.

Semi Traditional
This is where participants are taken to an accommodation place which has the modern day facilities to use like showers, gas stove
Fully Traditional
This is where you are taken out west, you are to sleep out under the stars, and you will make artefact the old traditional way. In addition, there will be nudity when corroboree is on as it is done in traditional dress. You will be cooking on a campfire and helping to catch the food and prepare it for cooking
